Doris is an animal enthusiast with a business spirit. In business now for six years. Inspired by her Golden Goldie, she elected to leave her long-time corporate job to pursue her dream of entering the pet industry. Doris has lived on Cape Cod for 11 years. She recognized the need for specialized pet care in the area because of her own personal need and her many contacts with pet professionals.

She volunteered with the Plymouth Animal Shelter for three years. Doris is also a member of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cape Cod.

Doris holds certifications in pet first aid and CPR from the American Red Cross. She practices alternative nutrition on her pets that lends itself to the food.

Doris is healthy, tenacious, and energetic. She left the retail clothing industry to pursue this business full-time, as animals have always been her passion since she was a child. She has three adopted dogs of her own in addition to two adopted cats. Her Golden Retriever has been certified as a Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog. She is also experienced in giving shots to diabetic animals.
